Our client is part of a group that provides corporate advisory and asset management services. The position would be to work for their real estate Fund. Due to their continuous growth and expansion in Luxembourg they are now looking to recruit a Financial Controller/Fund Auditor (m/f) to assistant the CFO.

The ideal candidate is a committed professional who will work in a small international team within a dynamic organization. This challenging role includes the following:

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
·       Assisting with the coordination and preparation of financial and management reports including dealing with ad-hoc investor requests
·       Liaising with company’s auditors and advisors, providing them with requested data gathered from different locations and departments
·       Continuously liaising with London Headquarters and local third parties i.e. banks, domiciliation agents, project managers and asset managers
·       Monitoring and processing all Fund’s treasury operations including draw-downs from investors and distributions
·       Monitoring company’s financial position and liquidity. Assist with cash flow analysis and forecast, monitoring cash collections and payments
·       Assist with preparation of tax reports e.g. VAT returns etc.
·       Preparation reports and documents required for board and shareholders meetings and review of minutes
·       Ensure that all transactions are performed in compliance with group/company’s procedures and policies
·       Monitoring operating processes and identifying potential gaps in procedures and policies
·       Responsible for the internal database completeness

Your Profile:
·       University or Accounting Degree (Full / Part qualified accountant qualification would be considered as an advantage)
·       A minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting / financial environment
·       Fluent in English and good command of French
·       Exceptional organization and administration skills
·       Keen eye for detail
·       Demonstrate flexibility when objectives and priorities change
