Our client is one of the main players providing HR services and is present in more than 45 countries over the world.
Directly reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage all accounting activities for the Luxembourg based companies and global consolidation at the Group's level.
Due to the continuous growth of their team in Luxembourg our client is now looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant (m/f).

This challenging role includes following:

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• You ensure the preparation of financial statements for the Group in conformity with Lux GAAP and IFRS;
  
• Maintain accounting records for the Luxembourg based companies and prepare quarterly reports for inclusion in the Group Management Accounts;
  
• Support preparation of statutory accounts at the year end and filing them with the relevant authorities;
  
• You participate in the preparation of monthly accounting closing;
  
• Liaising with external third parties (i.e. auditors, advisors, lawyer etc…) and work in close collaboration with Headquarters and Group subsidiaries worldwide;
  
• You guarantee the quality of the accounting data and the reporting;
  
• Prepare and review VAT returns and liaise with specialist tax advisors and tax authorities;
  
• Organize board meetings, shareholders’ meetings;

Qualifications and experience:

• You hold a university degree in Finance/Accounting;
  
• You have a relevant experience in reporting, accounting or in an audit firm;
  
• You have sound knowledge of accounting and IFRS;
  
• You possess a good understanding of consolidation procedures and Luxembourg tax compliance issues (VAT and corporate);
  
• You are fluent in English and you have a good command in French/or German;
  
• You are capable of working independently and you have developed strong analytical skills;
