JOB RESPONSABILITIES

·        Be a member in a team of 7 other engineers reporting directly to our Lead Engineer Customer Affairs.

·        Support development of the sales and the image of our consumer, truck, farm and OTR tires.

·        Provide technical and after sales service to various countries and customers.

·        Contribute to solve field issues.

·        Provide factual field performance data on development, production and competitor tires through claim data, field surveys and focus tests.

·        Perform field surveys to follow the performance of Consumer and truck tires in Europe – Middle East - Africa.

·        Recommend “the right tire to do right job” in order to optimize the performance of our tires in all areas of application.

·        Provide technical training to Goodyear associates in the countries.

EDUCATION:

·        The candidate must be in possession of a four to five years technical engineering degree.

·        An additional year in Sales/Marketing is an asset.

LANGUAGES:

·        English and German knowledge are a must.

·        French is an asset.

·        Understanding of  Tire products and their applications.

·        Tire analysis.

·        Market knowledge.

·        Basic computer knowledge (Lotus Notes, MS Office, Internet).

PROFILE:

·        Good communication skills.

·        Analytical skills.

·        Able to work independently and in a team.
