Engineering Support Specialist
Job responsibilities · Release process – Cut tire analysis, presentation preparation, as built vs as designed drawing updates, issue tests per TM approved test plan · Production monitoring data, cut tire analysis, footprint, uniformity, weight, etc. · RTR process – Tire tracking, section preparation, cut tire analysis, initial inspection, photos · Assist in preparation of presentations – photos, tire displays, charts etc. · EPDS and RMT CCSD drawings · Lab test data reports and vs modeled data comparison · Issue replacement and OE specifications. · Spec research – Historical spec changes · Summarize pre-policy reports · Coordinate focus tests and track results · Assist in plant releases – travel with engineer to assist in builds · Tire prep for displays · Issue test requests and compile test data, assist in new test development (ex. MRT rig) · Obtain sections for post test analysis · Assist in route mapping, weight/Temp studies, sensitivity studies, etc. · Adjustment tracking reports · Lab treadwear – monitoring, test requests, data summary · Tire tracking & Inventory control – Issue & track 1228’s · Tire carving – logistics, Issue shipping documents, Benchmarking · CATIA V5 definitions Education · The candidate must have a 2 or 3 year degree ideally in mechanics or industrial/technical field. Languages · Fluency in English, both written and oral, is a must. · Any other language will be considered as an asset. Experience · A previous experience in a technical field is an asset Skills & Qualifications · Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Excel · CAD, CATIA V4, CATIA V5 · CAPE/DMS/ORACLE · DEW/EAGLE/ · MESHING,EPDS,GBS R3,SEARCH/FETCH Profile · Positive attitude · Willingness to travel. |
