Your mission

Manage the financial management and statutory reporting requirements for company’s primary holding company for port investments in Europe and its subsidiaries

This role will involve preparing the consolidated financial information for group purposes under IFRS, managing the cash required for investing into the legal entities and monitoring working capital within the current portfolio of businesses, and reporting to the board of Company on the entities consolidated financial position under Luxembourg GAAP.

▪          Preparation of the Luxembourg-compliant statutory financial statements

▪          Monitoring of working capital within operating companies

▪          Ensuring compliance with obligations contained within funding arrangements

▪          Co-ordination, consolidation, and review of accounting information provided by the accountants from the operating companies across Europe

▪          Monthly preparation of financial information in accordance with IAS accounting principles, consolidated at each quarter end

▪          Potentially representing Company on subsidiary boards

▪          Reporting, as necessary, to the Company Board

Your profile

                Qualifications:

▪          Qualified Accountant

▪          Working knowledge of Luxembourg tax & accounting compliance

▪          Knowledge of tax & accounting compliance in other jurisdictions preferred

▪          Fluent in English and one other European language

Experience:

▪          7 years + total experience, preferably with some commercial experience

▪          Cultural sensitivity

▪          Working in a team, preferably international environment

Expertise:

▪          Self-starter

▪          Investment banking work ethic

▪          Comfortable with fast paced environment

▪          Flexible

▪          Hands on approach

▪          Knowledge of and experience in financing structures/contracts

▪          Knowledge of and experience in company secretarial duties

▪          Ability to travel throughout Europe as necessary
