Fund Administration - Product Manager (m/f) (FMMO/FAPM)
Our Client
Our client is a financial institution that has been providing a broad range of institutional investor services for over 100 years.
Your The Fund Administration product suite includes fund accounting, client reporting, investment operations as well as integration with asset managers via front, middle or back office services.
- Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-level product strategy for the suite of Fund Administration products and services globally, reflecting the European and Asian markets nuances and needs. - Lead the creation and implementation of product plans that provide differentiated business solutions to meet client needs globally in a timely and cost-effective way. - Create strategies to achieve P&L growth; measure product P & L; define pricing strategies; and propose bundling opportunities. - Determine the opportunity for targeting new client segments and extending fund administration products into new markets and incorporate as part of product strategies as well as in support of the CS & D process. - Articulate the implications of competitor strategies and the impact of market/industry trends at the local, regional and global level on product strategy and plans.
2) Product Development
- Develop business cases to support client and regional specific requirements. - Direct the research and documentation of product and business requirements globally, and achieve client validation throughout the development cycle. - Responsible for ensuring product vision and client needs are incorporated and maintained throughout the development cycle and for oversight of product development and implementation. - Direct product launch and implementation.
3) Brand Management
- Lead the development and execution of the communication strategy (internal and external) - Package, price, promote and determine distribution channels to launch new products. - Actively establish and maintain market presence and brand awareness through media, conferences and client communication - Manage product marketing and communication to ensure brand consistency and alignment to vision - Direct and coordinate all aspects of new product launch and delivery, leveraging shared services and distribution channels for maximum success - Monitor product success and issues over its life cycle and adjust/enhance to extend the life cycle - Test product value proposition through focus teams, client surveys and client partnerships 4) Team Management - Manage the Fund Administration team globally. About 4 persons. - Conduct regular performance reviews with Product Managers and Product Analysts and provide constructive feed-back Your profile - University or post-graduate degree - In-depth industry experience and knowledge of international markets Five years of experience in asset management or other investment related industries - Strategic approach to business; strong strategic planning and problem solving skills - Strong Business/Profit Orientation - Relationship skills. - Ability to lead initiatives, manage cross-functional relationships - Result oriented - Solid project management and organisational skills - Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment - Client Focus - Creativity & Innovation - Analytical skills
