Job Description:


 


A recent reorganisation has created a new position of Marketing Communications Assoc. Manager – responsible for leading communication strategy and producing materials for all customer-facing brand communication, and supporting field activities of 35 salespersons in over 20 EMEA countries.  Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  


 


·          Lead development of Channel Marketing Strategies – with particular focus on cleaning contractors, office, hospitality and healthcare channels. 


 


·          Run the distributor and end-user promotional program:  Create and implement value-added promotion programs (no discounting) for each top 20 customer to help stimulate sales.


·          Optimize the Sales communication platform to maximize persuasion – research each channel to determine the most persuasive message needed to drive product purchase and develop the necessary tools to deliver that message. 


 


·          Help support distributor Sales Force training and marketing tools – lead creation and delivery of all selling tools and training materials needed to equip distributor sales forces to be successful.


 


·          Drive top account marketing efforts – help account managers and regional marketing managers to create annual marketing plans for each top 20 account.  Lead thinking of top clients how to optimize spending of their coop marketing funds. 


 


·          Lead New Product Commercialization:  Co-lead the creation of launch strategies and communication for all new products.  Help provide early sales & market input to shape winning new products.  Provide guidance to product marketers about product details (i.e. pricing, sizing, packs). 


 


·          Track and measure results


 


 



Experience Required:


·          University degree is required (BAC + 4):  An advanced degree is a plus


·          5+ years experience in a marketing communication, brand management and/or trade marketing role is a minimum.  Commercial (B-to-B) experience is preferred.


·          Some sales experience – particularly experience presenting to customers


·          Experience managing across a multi-country/multi-language market – ideally pan-european experience


·          Marketing studies and quantitative enquiries methods


·          Fluent in English and at least 1 additional European Language – ideally Spanish, French, German or Italian.
