JOB RESPONSABILITIES

·        Carry out financial and operational audits in all functional areas.

·        Help to prepare detailed audit reports, including recommendations for improvements.

·        Perform ad hoc reviews and special projects at European level as required by the Group.

·        Analyze business processes and advise on process optimization.

·        Consult during implementation of new processes and systems.

·        Provide independent assurance to the management on the standards of control.

·        Evaluate and develop internal controls.

·        Help to develop and refine audit programs, plans, techniques and systems.

·        Cooperate with the external auditor, especially during year-end and quarterly closings.

EDUCATION:

·        The candidate must be in possession of a University degree in Accounting or Finance ideally with a specialization in audit.

LANGUAGES:

·        Excellent written and oral languages skills in English are a must.

·        Other European languages will be considered as an asset.

EXPERIENCE:

·        A previous experience in accounting and/or auditing will be considered as a strong asset.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATION:

·        Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

·        Computer literate (MS Office, SAP R/3, Lotus Notes …).

·        Strong accounting skills (preferably US GAAP) are a must.

PROFILE:

·        Able to work as part of a team, providing support and assistance to fellow team members as required.

·        High degree of analytical skill and detail-orientation.

·        Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a cross divisional/cultural environment.

·        Open to travel up to 60% within Europe, Middle East and Africa (For the most part in Europe).
