A propos de notre client :
For one of our clients, we are looking for a senior accountant.

Description de l'annonce :
What the effective performer needs to do:
- Responsible for the accounting of multiple companies
- Preparation of all month end general entries (salaries, accruals, intercompany, etc…) for these companies
- Monthly review and reconciliation of accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of consolidation reports and cash flow statements
- Preparation of the monthly/annual Luxembourg VAT returns within set deadlines
- Preparation of monthly INTRASTAT declarations (and STATEC reports) within given deadlines
- Assisting in the preparation of annual tax returns
- Following the internal approval process as set out by management
- Participation in the development of accounting systems and other ad-hoc projects
- Liaising with internal and external suppliers of information to ensure correctness of the accounts

What the effective performer needs to Deliver
- Accurate reporting on balance sheet reconciliation
- Accurate VAT, INTRASTAT and STATEC reporting
- Completion of tasks within company and legal deadlines

Profil recherché :
What the effective performer needs to Display
- Accounting degree or equivalent level through experience
- Knowledge of Luxembourg taxes, VAT and general accounting practices along with international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS)
- Knowledge of consolidation processes in a commercial, international environment
- Time Management and priority setting skills
- Ability to work in a well organized, accurate and reliable manner
- Good communication skills
- Problem assessment and solving skills
- Computer literacy including an ERP System
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French is an asset
