The person hired will be working within the Equity department. This team manages today around €2.4 billion.The investment approach is highly active and systematic, and combines quantitative modelling with close portfolio monitoring to minimise portfolio volatility in the pursuit of an optimal risk-adjusted return profile. The team includes 16 dedicated persons and benefits also from the support of shared operational platform:marketing, IT, Compliance, etc.

Your Mission

The role of the trader will be to work with the existing team in the execution of the equity trades generated by portfolio managers.

The trader will be involved in the execution of FX orders linked to investment activity.

The dealer will trade occasionally deposits, derivatives and commodities.

He will need to ensure best execution based upon the aim and constraints of the funds. It requires to

continuously adapt to ever changing market conditions including minimizing execution costs, using

appropriate strategy, benchmark, order time-frame and ensuring delivery. He will also need to perform

regular due diligence with brokers.

He will need to minimize as much as possible operational risk. This includes to ensure that legal constraint on

the funds are respected, good order routing, execution monitoring in relation with brokers.

He will participate in trade details with middle office ensuring an efficient trade settlement process. He should also use discretion in trade information.

The trader oversees markets and news flow of positions and orders.

The trader will be motivated to improve the optimisation of the execution workflow.

The trader will participate in research project regarding evaluation of market impact, liquidity statistics, pretrade

analysis and post-trade analysis.

Your profile

• Equity buy side or sell side market experience.

• Program trading experience is an asset.

• Strong communication skills as you will interact with brokers, portfolio management, middle office, IT, legal

and compliance.

• Good trading technology know-how. This includes a working knowledge of Order Management System,

Trading Systems, FIX and Bloomberg/Reuters.

• Good programming skills in Excel, Visual Basic and SQL experience required.
