Commercial Director (m/f) - France, Nordics and Emerging Markets EMEA

Main responsibilities:

The Commercial Director acts with the highest level of integrity to grow the business by driving sales and profit by:

- Developing and implementing local plans that are aligned with the broader regional and Global Strategy
- Helping countries optimize the short term performance and long term growth while ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies
- Representing ConvaTec interests with important external stakeholders as appropriate, e.g., government and regulatory officials, health authorities, industry associations, media, key opinion leaders, clinicians, patients and advocates.
- Working with regional and country management team to prioritize objectives and ensure alignment with global/regional priorities
- Develop and executes specific marketing initiatives aligned to broader business objectives
- Communicating and setting an example for why compliance is integral to business success and achieving competitive advantage in the marketplace
- Monitoring and adhering to the financial and business controls and processes to follow internal and external rules and regulations within the legal entity
- Knowing how to involve internal and external resources to achieve personal and company goals


Profil recherché :
Our ideal candidate:

- 5+ years people management
- 6+ years experience in sales or marketing
- Working with a P&L
- Working in a complex matrix organisation - leveraging people without having line responsibility
- Managing a highly visible strategic product, business or major project
- Need to have had working experience in different markets, languages and cultures
- Must have solid foundation in sales or marketing
- Experience in multiple functions is desired
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalency is required. Graduate degree in Business or undergraduate coursework in Business is desirable
- Exposure to marketing, pricing and reimbursement, operations, government affairs, internal controls and core functions would be advantegeous
- Working with senior management in different cultures would be of added value
