Global Group Buyer Technical Investments and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations)

In this strategically important position for the company you are directly reporting to the Director MRO. Your annual Budget responsibility will be approximately 200 Million CHF.

The major responsibilities include:

-Buying of the machines and spare parts for the production lines for the worldwide group
-Coordinating all repair, operation, work order and (preventive) maintenance activities
-Negotiating agreements with suppliers to obtain best possible value
-Streamlining and optimising the present MRO buying procedures to minimize the amount of resources needed to maintain adequate levels of required materials
-Responsibility for Purchasing Projects

Profil recherché :
For this position the following background and skills are required:

-Further education in Engineering, Economics or Purchasing related subjects
-Working experience in the Area of machinery and spare parts purchasing.
-Experience in MRO purchasing
-Purchasing skills as well as in-depth experience specific in mechanical + electromechanical components
-Technical Background
-Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
-The ideal candidate has a dynamic entrepreneurial profile with spirit of initiative and a multi cultural mindset.
