Nord Stream is a gas pipeline to link Russia and the European Union via the Baltic Sea. It will carry natural gas to supply both businesses and households. The new pipeline will be an important factor of energy security in Europe.
Nord Stream is more than just a pipeline. It is a new channel for Russian natural gas exports, and a major infrastructure project which sets a new benchmark in the EU-Russia cooperation.

Main responsibilities:
- Managing of national and supranational permitting processes
- Devising and advising a strategy for the permitting process on the EU level
- Advising and monitoring the communication strategy; aiming at public authorities, NGOs and media
- Preparing decisions and presenting identified options to Deputy Technical Director
- Participating in Task Force meetings and preparing statements
- Preparing, distributing and archiving minutes of meetings and ensuring related follow-up requirements
- Collecting information on technical, legal and environmental problems, analyzing them and developing solutions
- Representing Nord Stream to authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders
Profil recherché :
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years of experience in Crisis Management in large scale construction or energy projects or equivalent undertakings
- 3+ years of experience in PR and Lobbying - written and oral communication with stakeholders of all levels and public authorities
- Proven experience in energy markets and policy; legal affairs and environmental engineering
- Proven experience with public authorities, EU policy and EU institutions
- Strong intercultural skills
- Experience in presenting in front of large and partly critical audiences
- Proven ability to achieve results in a fast paced and changing environment
- Fluency in English and German; knowledge of Russian preferred
