  • What is the required equipment?

We strongly advise you to use a computer with at least one camera/webcam and a microphone, and a good internet connection. For everyone's comfort, we recommend the use of headphones or earphones. The solution also works with a mobile phone but it is really less practical.

Attention: the solution is only compatible with 4 browsers: Google Chrome, Edge (only the Chromium version), Firefox and Safari.

Warning: only Safari works on Iphone, but not Google Chrome.

  • What should I do if I do not have internet access?

Having an internet access is a prerequisite to participate in this virtual job fair. If you do not have internet access, you can always go to a friend's or family member's house, a cybercafé, a university library or an open space.

Our advice: make sure to anticipate or reserve a computer if it is necessary. You can take headphones or earphones with you to feel more at ease during your interviews – without people around you listening the whole conversation.

During the event:

  • How do I connect to this virtual event?

You can log in and access to the virtual job fair on moovijobtour.com. To do so, you should create an account using your email address and complete your profile.

Do not forget to upload your CV directly when creating your account. You will also have the opportunity to add a photo to your CV – please make sure to use a professional photo.

You will even be able to join the Moovijob Tour Luxembourg the day of the event without prior registration!

You will be asked for your main information (surname, first name, profile, photo, CV, ...).
Warning: we only accept the PDF format for the CV. If you have a Word document, just save it in PDF format.

After connecting to the website, you will be able to search using categories or key words (e.g. desired position, company, type of contract, etc.) and several professional opportunities will be offered to you! Then, join a virtual queue and wait to be contacted by the recruiter when he or she is available. Since we are in a generous mood... you will be able to join 3 lines at the same time! What a wonderful feature! Thanks to this, you would not have to wait your turn in front of one specific stand before visiting other companies!

  • What happens when I connect to this virtual event?

Once logged into to the job fair, you will be able to see all the present exhibitors. Do not hesitate to use some keywords – sought position, company, or type of contract, for instance – to simplify your job search.

You will also be able to find the Consulting / Training / Administration area or the Moovijob stand.

There will be a colored icon to tell you if there is little, some, or a lot of waiting for each stand.

Then, you can click on the stand you are interested in to see how many candidates are already there and your average waiting time. You will then be able to join a virtual line, choose the recruiter you would like to meet, and wait for him/her to contact you when he/she is available.

You will be able to join 3 lines at the same time and will not have to wait your turn in front of one specific stand before visiting other companies!

  • When should I connect to this virtual event?

One of the many advantages of a virtual event is that you can log in and participate whenever you want, take a break, and come back without having to worry about the travel time.

Just keep in mind that recruiters may have a lunch break between 12:00 am and 2:00 pm – so you might have fewer chances of talking to them at that moment – and the job fair ends at 5:00 pm.

  • What conferences will be held?

4 conferences will be held throughout the day this year. Click on this link to find out the schedule and the topics covered.

  • How will the virtual interviews take place?

The interviews will take place as if they were face-to-face... but with screens in between! When the recruiter is ready – and you too! – to virtually meet you, a video conversation will start. If you do not have a webcam, do not panic! You will be able to start an audio conversation with the recruiter.

  • Is there any limited number of interviews for each person?

There will be no limited number of interviews per person. You will then have the opportunity contact as many exhibitors as possible in one day!

    • How do I send my CV to a company I am interested in?

You should upload your CV while creating your profile for this virtual event. The recruiter will then have direct access to it when the virtual interview starts.

Do not hesitate to ask the recruiter his/her professional email address if you want to send your CV right after the interview or contact him/her a little latter.

After the event:

  • How can I maximize my chances of being contacted again after the fair?

If we can give you a little piece of advice: contact the recruiter instead of waiting an answer!

If you feel that the interview went especially well with a specific recruiter, do not hesitate to ask his/her professional email address to contact them after.

If you do not receive any an answer, you can send an email once again after a few days to prove your motivation.

  • Why do recruiters ask me to additionally register on their career site?

A recruiter may sometimes ask you to register on the company's career site at the end of an interview to facilitate the recruitment and selection process via their IT tool.

Many HR departments have their own information processing systems that allow them to manage the candidates according to their own criteria! Judging by the number of candidates who are recruited thanks to job fairs, the effort is worth it.
