PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULTS AREAS
- Fulfill software design, system architecture and development work necessary for solution implementation, including team control functions
- Organize, supervise and coordinate on-site and off-site development teams in coordination with project managers, system architects and solution engineers
- Produce source code fulfilling 100% test coverage and high-quality gates defined for static code analysis tool
- Customize and configure integrated open source systems for SES commercial projects and services
- Support the preparation of technical proposals in response to international tenders and the contribution to the development, implementation, and improvement of ground-based services and systems.
- Provide support to Sales department for the presale activities (presales engineering)
- Travel internationally to meet partners and customers and assist system deployments in developing countries
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Professional experience in ICT as a full-stack developer of large, reliable, distributed client server applications
- Comfortable with Java, Java Spring, Angular.io; experience with Python
- Experience or interest in customer and user support
- Fluency in English; any other language is considered as an asset
