Financial Controller in Life Insurance M/F

For a prestigious client located in Luxembourg and easily accessible by transport, we are looking for a Financial Controller in Life Insurance M/F.

You will be part of a team of 5 people and your tasks will be the following.

Your tasks:

• You will use reporting tools to analyse the financial health of the company
• You will be responsible for maintaining the accounts and reviewing budgets (of the management company and cash flow forecasts for the funds).
• You verify compliance with procedures and the management of the company's accounts in accordance with the regulations in force.
• You set up control systems.
• You produce forecast reports and actively participate in the preparation of financial reports to regulatory bodies (CAA)

Your profile:

• You have a master's degree in finance, management control, audit, or actuarial science.
• You are comfortable with numbers and have a perfect knowledge of financial mathematics.
• You have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in external/internal audit or financial control in a life or big 4 insurance company.
• You have organizational skills, an analytical mind, and the ability to summarize.
• You have a very good knowledge of IT management tools (SAP; ANAPLAN; WORKIVA...).
• You have very good communication skills.
• You have a perfect knowledge of finance, accounting, and life insurance.
• You are fluent in English. All other languages would be an asset.
