About the Role:
For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Controlling Specialist who will be involved in Controlling activities in the category of General and Technical Purchases to join the Procurement Finance Controlling function.
In this position your main responsibilities will be to provide the right information to the decision takers and ensure the governance and guidance of the different finance related processes.
Moreover, you will be interacting with various departments, in and out Finance, to provide timely and accurate analysis on business and operative performances and to forecast the upcoming results.
The main counterparts in the finance family will be the investment, industrial and overhead ;
Outside the finance family, the main stakeholders are the general and technical purchasing departments and the related requestors (engineering, plants).
Covering this position, you will work in Reporting and Analysis of Planning Scenarios to support central and local entities with Budget, Forecasts, and institutional scenario processes, such as Strategic Plan.
With regards to Reporting and Analysis of Actual costs vs. planned objectives your responsibility will involve understanding and explaining key deviations vs. planned scenarios and previous year actuals. In relation you will have to conduct efficiency analysis to perform and discuss with the Procurement function on monthly basis.
Furthermore, you will support cross-functional activities (with Industrial, Investment and Overhead controlling, General and Technical Purchasing), such as Investment Committee preparation, “Buy or Lease” analysis, ad hoc projects and analysis supporting the decision-taking process and related efficiencies of the Business.
In this position you will also work on Vendor Financial Assessment for General and Technical purchases while you will be involved in suppliers Financing special monitoring (Actual vs. Budget/Forecast) according to Discretionary Cash Flow Controlling. Who we are looking for:
You will bring your university Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, alternatively in Engineering, and 4-7 years of experience overall while 4-5 in financial controlling gained in FMCG and/or in a consulting company.
On top of this, the key to your success will be your strong analytical mindset, your attention to detail on one hand, combined with good synthesis capabilities on the other, and your good organizational skills.
