Pallets & Warehouses Category Manager

About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Pallets & Strategic Warehouses Category Manager who is reporting directly to the Area Supply Chain Procurement Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

By covering this position, you will play an active role in ensuring the execution of the category strategy in Europe.

You will perform market & spend analysis as well as provide the management with updated specific analysis to continuously improve the procurement performance.

You will help in managing procurement activities ensuring product availability with agreed quality and service levels while optimizing value for Ferrero and applying the internal methodologies, procedures, and tools.

Moreover, you will be led to analyze the relative market and identify suppliers that are potentially suitable to Ferrero Group requirements in terms of quality, capacity, growth opportunities and innovation.

Conducting negotiation with suppliers of the category of responsibility, in alignment with internal procedures and Ferrero Code of Business Conduct & Supplier Code will be also under your responsibility.

You will contribute to define contracts that minimize TCO and meet qualitative, quantitative, deadlines and service level standards.

On top of this, your role will be to contribute to the risk profile evaluation for the category of responsibility.

You will maintain, consolidate, and improve relationships with existing suppliers, to ensure continuity, manage criticalities and strengthen common objectives.

Who we are looking for:

You will bring your background in Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain or similar field with around 5 years of experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain.

You are demonstrating experience in supplier selection & qualification, tender/bid management, strategic sourcing, suppliers' portfolio management, budgeting, contract management and suppliers' performance evaluation/supplier risk management.

Moreover, communication and analytical skills will be required in your daily activity.

On top of that, you will bring your advanced knowledge in Excel and your fluency in English.

Italian language will be also helpful in this position.
