Senior Accountant – In-house Role, Part-Time (80%)

Our client, a holding company located in Gasperich, is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join a human-sized team. This company is active in the development of digital content, and would like to recruit a person in Luxembourg to start building their finance department.

Your Responsibilities | Finance – PFS – Fiduciary – Holding

• You are responsible for the accounting entries for 30 entities in your client portfolio (SOPARFI, Holdings).
• You handle the preparation of VAT and tax returns autonomously.
• You prepare annual accounts for the entities of your portfolio, and you also analyze them to increase the benefits.
• You are in daily contact with your colleagues working abroad, and you are always proactive and reactive in order to ensure an excellent communication.
• You also prepare and review a few legal documents (e.g. the preparation of board/shareholder meetings) and you will coordinate with lawyers from an external law firm for difficult and specific tasks.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | In-house – Internal Accounting – Luxembourg

• You have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally acquired within a fiduciary or a PFS in Luxembourg.
• You are fluent in English as you will speak this language on a daily basis, with your colleagues and external parties.
• During your career, you have had the opportunity to manage a client portfolio composed of SOPARFI/Holdings and SPV.
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• You are able to work autonomously and without many colleagues surrounding you. You can respect your own organization and respect deadlines by yourself.
