Team Manager – Fund Company Secretary (m/f)

Arendt Services, which is part of Arendt & Medernach, the largest law firm in Luxembourg, is regulated by the Luxembourg supervisory authority (CSSF – Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) and operates under the status of Professional of Financial Sector (“PSF”).

Arendt Services offers a wide range of services, such as domiciliation, corporate secretarial and accounting services, fund services, directorship of companies, tax-compliance services and assistance in the winding-up of companies.

To be based in our Luxembourg office, we are looking for a:

Team Manager – Fund Company Secretary (m/f)

Your role:

• Managing a complex portfolio of clients with all aspects of company and fund legislation;
• Coordinating, preparing and attending complex board meetings, including minutes taking and follow-up on action points;
• Coordinating shareholders’ meetings;
• Monitoring of all other corporate events;
• Reviewing complex legal documentation with critical analysis;
• Monitoring the team’s workload;
• Providing guidance and leading other team members to develop new skills or knowledge that will enhance their work;
• Monitoring budgets and profitability as well as billability of team members;
• Providing a timely and quality delivery of services to clients;
• Giving guidance to clients as to good corporate governance proceedings.

Your profile:

• You are graduated in Business Administration, Economics, Law or Finance (minimum Bachelor);
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Luxembourg in a similar position;
• You have a strong understanding of Luxembourg fund industry and its actors and a strong knowledge of the main Luxembourg laws and regulations in that field;
• You are fluent in English. German will be considered an advantage;
• You are well organized, rigorous and dynamic;
• You are able to show proactivity and good communication skills;
• You are able to find solutions to complex technical issues;
• You are able to motivate and coach team members
