Intern - In-House Legal Counsel
Arendt Investor Services, which is part of Arendt & Medernach, the largest law firm in Luxembourg, is regulated by the Luxembourg supervisory authority of the financial sector (CSSF – Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) and operates under the status of Specialised Professional of Financial Sector (“PFS”).
Arendt Investor Services offers a wide range of services, such as domiciliation, corporate secretarial and accounting services, fund investor services, governance services, operational AML/KYC services, directorship of companies, tax-compliance services and assistance in the winding-up of companies;
Within our internal legal department (General Secretariat), we are looking for an:
Intern - In-House Legal Counsel
Your role:
- Drafting and reviewing various types of legal agreements and any other legal documents;
- Ensuring the corporate governance principles applicable to a PFS are followed;
- Monitoring and reviewing new laws, regulations and market practices which may impact the business;
- Liaising with third parties such as service providers, lawyers, notaries, local authorities, etc…;
- Taking part in various projects;
- Working on specific client files when necessary.
Your profile:
- You have obtained or are currently registered for a master’s degree in law;
- You are interested in a long term traineeship to complement your education;
- You are fluent in French and English;
- You are well organised, have very good communication skills and you are a good team player;
- You are also proactive and eager to learn.
