Founded in 1856, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) is the oldest multi-business bank in the Grand Duchy. It has always played an active role in the main stages of development of the Luxembourg economy. It currently operates in retail, private and corporate banking, as well as on financial markets. Employing more than 2,000 people, BIL is present in the financial centres of Luxembourg, Switzerland, Denmark, and China.


Project description:


In the frame of BIL’s strategic plan, Create2025, BIL is engaged in an ambitious multi-year transformation plan. One of the biggest challenges of this plan is the replacement of BIL’s core banking platform and along with it, the related Document Management, E-signature and Collaborative Workflow platforms.


A new Transformation Organization mixing Business and IT skills, has been setup in order to deliver those strategic components. This organization is under the umbrella of the Chief Transformation Officer.


Within the Transformation Office, the Distribution Domain is composed of the following Value Chains:

·        Paperless & Collaboration delivering the solutions managing the whole documents lifecycle (acquisition, generation, validation, archiving), e-signature (Luxtrust) and collaborative workflows

·        Distribution Channels (BILnet and PSD2 API).

·        Customer, CRM & Onboarding


Main missions:

Within the Paperless & Collaboration Value Chain, the GoToMarket role will be in charge of the following activities in support of delivery and in collaboration with the product owner:

·        Contribute to the product vision:

o  Contribute to the definition of the ambitions and vision of the Paperless & Collaboration Value Chain products (Document Management, E-signature & Luxtrust, Digital Collaborative Workflows)

o  Follow the evolution of market solutions and understand/anticipate internal/external customer expectations with the product owner and with suppliers (e.g. Luxtrust) to facilitate the definition of priorities


·        Prepare the change:

o  Create the necessary communication content and training materials to support the change for customers and sales/support teams (including Colibri and product catalogues, user guides, FAQs, microsites, webinars)

o  Define and monitor the customer and employee adoption and communication plan to ensure successful adoption of delivered features within the Value Chain


·        Monitor and reinforce adoption:

o  Define and track KPIs to assess adoption and trigger improvement actions

o  Define targets and regular adoption campaigns by selecting the appropriate channel in alignment with the Bank's overall campaign plan and marketing

o  Monitor campaign results across channels

Test and measure new campaign ideas to reach new customer segments


·        Accompany projects:

o  Facilitate the challenging of needs and the validation of proposed solutions with the various departments of the Bank (e.g. Compliance, Risk)

o  Participate in user testing and provide quality feedback

o  Contribute to the GoToMarket community of practice within the bank


·        Ensure a GoToMarket backup with the other Value Chains of the Distribution domain


Must Have Requirements


o  Proven experience in marketing (targeting, content, campaign definition and follow-up, market watch)

o  Ready to work in an agile mode/mind-set and open to new working methods

o  Good organization

o  Excellent writing / communication skills

o  Pragmatic and client / result oriented


Specific skills:

o  Document Management and e-signature knowledge (Documentum, Luxtrust solutions knowledge is a plus)

o  Excellent marketing and business knowledge (a banking business or finance knowledge is a plus)

o  Excellent adaption skills in complex situation

o  Fluent in French and English (Luxembourgish is a plus)

o  Analytics tooling knowledge like Business Object, Qlikview or Dataiku is a plus
