Experienced Consultant - HR Operations & Payroll (m/f)

What will you do?

• Provide HR operations and payroll advisory services as well as operational support (mainly on-site);
• Act as a key point of contact and reference for all HR operations and legal questions related to labor law;
• Propose and implement improvements of policies, processes and procedures related to HR operations and administration;
• Provide guidance to junior consultant in the daily management of their activities/deliverables;
• Contribute to the design and the provision of diversified HR solutions mostly related to HR processes & policies, HR compliance, HR outsourcing, Compensation & Benefits;
• Work in close cooperation with our clients’ HR and/or Management counterparts to identify and understand their people and organisational challenges in order to propose and deliver fit-for-purpose analysis, recommendations, reports, presentations and other project outputs;
• Monitor projects’ progress and risks, ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about evolution and expected outcome;
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through the achievement of high-quality deliverables within timeframes;  
• Keep informed of current developments and trends in Human resources;
• Contribute to build market eminence at national level and within the international BDO network on own areas of expertise

This offer is for you if:

• You hold a Master’s degree in HR or Business Administration;
• You have 7-10 years of successful experience in HR operations/payroll either as a consultant or as a versatile internal officer, preferably in the Banking/financial sector in Luxembourg;
• You enjoy learning by doing and you show a willingness to acquire new competencies;
• You have a proactive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and real team spirit allowing you to develop very good relationships with your colleagues and clients;
• You have a commercial acumen with the ability to identify new business opportunities;
• You demonstrate strong analytical skills together with the ability to work in a methodical and rigorous manner;
• You are autonomous and organised, and you demonstrate flexibility and adaptability;
• You are MS Office literate (with strong Excel capabilities), ideally completed with the operational knowledge of an HRIS;
• You are fluent in English and French. Any additional language is considered as an asset;
