Task Responsibilities:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Training Instructor to join the team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in empowering our M&E division with the skills and knowledge they need to excel.
As an Instructor in the Technical Training department you will be responsible for preparing, establishing, and maintaining courses to ensure students are well-prepared and knowledgeable, enabling them to successfully complete the course and/or examinations as required by EASA regulations (Part-147/66 & Part-145) and as outlined in the MTOE sections.
Additionally, you will oversee the preparation, establishment, maintenance, and delivery of training in accordance with company procedures.
Main tasks:
- Deliver Type Training (B747-400/-8 and 777) in accordance with approved documentation (Classroom, Virtual Classroom or blended)
- Deliver other technical trainings as required by the regulation for Cargolux M&E Division
- Deliver practical and on-the-job training on the aircraft or aircraft components
- Prepare, update and optimize training material and learning aids
- Do training needs analysis (TNA) to meet regulatory requirements and the learning needs of Cargolux M&E Division
- Stay updated on technical and industry knowledge, instructional techniques, new teaching technologies and all job relevant procedures, regulations and documentation
- Assist in the preparation of Web-based trainings
- Support the Technical Training Department with technical knowledge and expertise
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Bachelor; degree and/or a background in Aviation Maintenance, Education or another relevant field
- Hold an AML B2 or B1 license
- B747-400/-8 and / or B777 type rating is a distinct advantage
- Teaching experience is an advantage
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Working Conditions:
- Full-time permanent position based in Luxembourg
- Flexible working hours and a work from home policy (according to our Collective Work Agreement)
- A Certificate of good conduct (casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
