As part of Dennemeyer Software Solutions, you will join our Software Development teams as a Senior DevOps Engineer to code and automate our software deployments to virtual machines and to k8s clusters on premise or in the cloud. You will be working closely with talented developers, operators, technical leaders and QA Automation engineers. You will be part of a new DevOps team.
You have a strong technical background. You are passionate about technology, infrastructure, systems design, networking, scripting and security. You like to code, automate, learn and share. - Be responsible of our CI/CD Azure DevOps platform, our Azure platform and our k8s clusters in development.
- Provide Ops teams in production with bug free tested deployment processes, tools, instructions and documentation
- Provide QA testers with configurable pipelines to deploy a branch or a release.
- Provide each development team with a nightly built environment
- Be the corner stone between developers and operators
- Design and write with them the deployment processes common to both and take into account all the dimensions like business and technical constraints, configuration management, secret management, version management, release management, logs and reports
- Automate the deployment of our applications from git and from artefact repositories to virtual machines or to the cloud
- Security is a priority for you: you automate passive/active vulnerability scans
- Support Ops teams in solving production issues
- Bring your experience and your ideas with system designs and automation
- Mentor technical leaders and developers with DevOps practices
- Plan each Sprint, deliver incrementally, share and make demos during the reviews
Your Profile
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field or relevant experience.
- At least 5 years working experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with CI/CD platform, Azure DevOps and pipeline development
- Deployment/Infrastructure as a Code is familiar to you. Experience with Ansible.
- Knowledge about Linux and one or more programming languages for automating tasks
- Experience in various system designs, networking, proxies, AD, IAM, gateways, DNS, ha, load balancing, etc
- Experience with Azure. AZ certification is considered as an asset
- Experience with containers and K8S
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tool Git
- Experience with packaging tools like NPM or Nuget
- Experience with artifact repository, Docker registry, container security scanner
- Experience with application and system monitoring like ElasticSearch/Kibana or Prometheus/InfluxDB/Grafana
- Experience with SQL or noSQL databases. Distributed DB is considered as an asset
- Experience with SonarQube. Experience with .Net and C# is considered an asset
- Experience with secret management tools like Azure Key Vault or Hashicorp Vault is considered as an asset
- Experience with Rest APIs. Experience with an API Gateway is considered an asset
- Experience deploying and securing (https, certificates, owasp) web applications
- Experience with messaging platform like Kafka is considered an asset
- Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum
