POSTE
Our client, an established organization in the biotechnology and laboratory sector, is seeking a talented IT Technician / System and Network Administrator to strengthen its IT department. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge laboratory operations by ensuring a stable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software, including PCs, servers, storage systems, network devices, IP telephony, and printers.
- Provide daily technical support to internal users, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service.
- Administer and maintain operating systems and critical business applications.
- Monitor system performance, network integrity, and security.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations, and process improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
PROFIL
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in system and network administration, ideally within a Windows and/or Linux environment.
- Good understanding of networking technologies (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls).
- Familiarity with virtualization, backup, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive and service-oriented attitude.
- Experience in the medical, laboratory, or healthcare sector is considered a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English and French is required; any additional language is a plus.
