Luxembourg is looking for a full-time Integrated Compliance officer to support
the current team.
Job description
The Integrated Compliance (IC) team is a new team within Compliance
and it is responsible to perform several activities that support the other
Compliance units (i.e., Financial Crime Compliance, Organisational & Conduct
Compliance, Compliance Quality Assurance).
Your team shares a collective responsibility for performing several processes : Compliance Risk Assessment,
Scenarios, Training, MIS and Data analytics, Whistleblowing, Human Capital,
Planning & Budgeting and Business management activities.
As
part of the Integrated Compliance team, your purpose is to launch, steer
and coordinate programmes across Compliance as well as execution of change
projects that cannot find their way within the Business as usual in order and to
support the other Compliance units in managing the full set of Compliance
risks.
The
Integrated Compliance Team proactively interacts with other Compliance units in
requesting information and providing support for a set of activities aimed at
keeping the Compliance department functioning at its best.
The IC team will consist of 2 team members as part
of the Compliance Department.
You will hierarchically report to the local Lead of Integrated Compliance
team.
What you'll do
As IC Officer
You create data-driven insight on compliance risks;
You demonstrate to support the OneCompliance function through reporting
that is consistent with group-wide requirements;You manage data analytics in our risk identification and reporting
processes;You
play an important role in allowing for functional steering (where
applicable);You are
supporting the proper description and implementation of global processes at
local level;You
ensure adequate and dynamic insight in the planning and steering of the local
function;You
support, steer, strategize and develop the functional processes team including
all related activities (e.g., HR related activities, performance management,
whistleblowing);You act
on all regulatory/audit findings with regards to reporting and management
information;You
take care of proper programme management, including providing timely updates on
the relevant programs;You coordinate effective implementation of the new
governance, including new processes and activities;You perform Key Control Testing on non-risk
specific/ functional areas (e.g., hospitality register);You conduct the Planning & Budgeting activities
in the local Compliance office and liaise with the Business Line Compliance as
appropriate;You contribute to identify local IT / innovation
needs and monitor their implementation, working alongside SME topics leaders.

The IC team is working
together based on knowledge and expertise, as well as the skill set needed to
best perform the job.The
team is working with key internal stakeholders and offers an environment which
provides a global overview on how the relevant IC requirements and controls are
embedded within the business and provides an opportunity to manage
relationships with external stakeholders, regulators and supervisory
institutions.The IC
team would translate into practical actions the IC directions at Business Line
and/or Group Compliance, where applicable.

You have 3-5+
years’ experience in risk management
activities, possibly with a combination
of front office experience ;You have
very strong analytical results in order to translate qualitative subjective
risks into quantitative forward-looking objective metrics able to distil key
information out of overflow ;You are
able to make judgement calls ;You
prioritise supported by extensive risk management experience allowing to make
assessments without having sufficient background on particular risk areas ;You have an
adequate understanding of the use of data within ING ;You have a
strong understanding how to mobilize different internal and external
stakeholders in coming to functional steering (where applicable) ;You
challenge subject matter experts on their prioritisation and quantification of
risks ;You are
able to speak up to senior risk managers and defend consistency in the approach
;You have a
university degree or equivalent;You have an excellent level of
English (verbal/written)
