Production engineer / Master Control Room
Job Description
Within a multi-skilled and autonomous squad, you will :
• Steer the execution of planned production processes allowing the Bank to be up and running and to serve clients
• Ensure that jobs execution is performed in line with operational procedures and in respect with quality & availability criteria’s
• Handle requests of deployment or execution of non-automated routines (backup/restore, ad-hoc mailings or business requests, emergency changes…)
• Ensure the proper monitoring of our production and facilitates the resolution of IT incidents (first level diagnosis, priority setting, assignation, follow-up and escalation, logs retrieval)
• Implement and deploy preventive controls / procedures to anticipate and avoid issues on IT systems (disk space, cut-off times, execution time, recurring incidents…) and setting up automated controls or check-lists, analysing logs and reports, contacting involved teams
• Be the first contact person for some external providers (VBS for printing services, IT Helpdesk for general incidents…)
• Ensure a continuous presence, with your team, all along the execution time of IT critical processes

• Ability to work in total autonomy beyond working hours since the team is having nights shifts (until 22h30 plus end-of-months specific shifts) and week-end on-call duties

Technical skills
• Good knowledge in the management of a centralized and automated IT production system (ITIL)
• Good knowledge in z/OS, Windows or Linux platforms
• Relevant experience or strong willing to learn about TWS or OPC scheduling systems is preferable
• Knowledge in ServiceNow ticketing system is a plus
• Experience in scripting (bash, Perl, Python, etc..) and Ansible is a nice to have
• Basic understanding of network and security concepts is useful
• General knowledge on IT and curiosity
Experience
• Training level : Bac + 2 minimum in IT
• Experience of several years in an equivalent position is a plus
