Junior/Senior Adviser in Risk Consulting Department

 Risk Consulting delivers a wide range of risk related services to our clients. We support the Insurance sector to ensure that institutions have adequate strategies, processes, and methodologies in place to ensure a sound coverage of their financial and non-financial risks and a robust capital and liquidity management, in line with their business strategy. With our fast-growing team, we help clients identify, measure, and manage risks, and share effective implementation solutions to improve performance. Technology, part of KPMG DNA, is used in our projects to provide efficient and innovative solutions and transform existing financial and regulatory reporting processes. Our clients include reinsurers, reinsurance captives, international and local insurers in life and non-life. For such missions, our consultants apply their analytical skill set coupled with a variety of qualitative and quantitative tools to set up strategic planning and risk management processes and tools, to help our clients achieve their goals. Our engagements are a mix of short and long duration, client-site and office-based work in Luxembourg and across borders.

 We are seeking outstanding individuals who share KPMG value and can contribute to the team commitment to be the market leader by size and reputation.

As part of our team you will:

  • Develop solution to complex problems for life/non-life insurance and reinsurance clients
  • Advice clients on the topics relating to IFRS 17, Solvency II and local GAAP
  • Support the client in their process of transforming existing financial and regulatory reporting
  • Set up, review and improve internal control and risk management frameworks (policies, procedures, methodologies)
  • Support the client’s teams to analyse and improve their accounting processes
  • Assist with the development of proposals

The perfect candidate:

  • You hold a Master or equivalent in either Audit, Finance or Accounting
  • You have 0 to 4 years of experience in audit or accounting. An experience within the insurance sector is a plus
  • You have a strong IT skill in MS office and accounting system (Custy, SAP…)
  • You are a team player willing to share your experience 
  • You are client-driven and solution oriented
  • You are fluent in English and French
  • You enjoy working in a multicultural environment
