Business Developer
Function :
You work for a company specialized in the conception and manufacturing of high-speed machineries and you:
- Help to company to develop its activities by identifying new markets and by promoting its products ;
- Survey the “sustainable market” and see how the company could position itself and enter this market by developing its range of products ;
- Create and maintain a portfolio of business leads;
- Negotiate to close deals and report on the status of all leads and prospects;
- Attend and represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Profile :
- You have an engineering degree, preferably in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Mechanics or equivalent ;
- You have 10-15 years of professional experience. A previous experience in a sales/business development position is required ;
- You are fluent in English + French and/or German. Any additional language (Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch…) is a plus ;
- You have both a commercial and a technical acuteness ;
- You are improvement-minded and able to bring technical solutions ;
- You have a deep understanding of mechanical design and production processes ;
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills ;
- You are willing to travel abroad to visit clients and attend fairs occasionally ;
- You are self-motivated and target-oriented ;
- You can work independently as well as with a team.
