For our department E-Commerce within LuxairAirlines, we are looking for a (an):

Digital Ancillary Sales Manager

Main duties:

  • Conceptualise and manage the Ancillary Sales Strategy & Roadmaps, in close Collaboration with Business Stakeholders, Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing & IT Departments
  • Drive and realise New Digital Sales & Ancillary Projects on Business Side with Focus on Customer Acquisition, Conversion & Loyalty (incl. B2C, Corporate, SME, B2B Clients)
  • Take Responsibility and Commercial Ownership of our Ancillary Sales across all (online) Customer Touchpoints, including regular Analysis of Sales Results & KPIs
  • Manage, plan and realise Commercial Actions with Focus on New Digital Sales & Ancillary Products, in line with the Overall B2C and B2B Sales Strategy
  • Contribute to the E-Commerce Sales Actions and Support the Personalisation of our Digital Sales Platforms (incl. MyLuxair)
  • Contribute to the Development of the E-Commerce & Overall Sales Strategy
  • Plan and control Budgets, regularly monitor and report Activities.


Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

  • Provide a University Degree in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Aviation studies or similar line of studies and/or proven experience in a similar position
  • Have an experience in E-Commerce, Online Sales or Customer Service Fields
    Show a good knowledge in project management
  • Be familiar with current IT office and E-Commerce tools, and demonstrate statistical software skills
  • Show excellent communication skills in English, as well as skills in French and/or German (spoken and written).

Desired or to be acquired criteria:

  • Have a good knowledge in ancillary sales strategies, B2C/B2B online sales and/or new digital services
  • Be able to identify new digital potentials, be proactive and show willingness to take ownership
  • Demonstrate strong skills in E-Commerce and enterprise sales and processes, and show the ability to deliver complex digital projects within set timelines together with internal and external teams
  • Have good skills in editorial management and copy-writing
  • Be able to work team-oriented and independently
  • Show assertiveness and stress resistance
  • Show a good spirit to synthesize and good analytical and listening skills
  • Have a notion of Luxemburgish and develop the deficient work language (French or German)

The ideal candidate:

  • Travel industry experience would be beneficial, ideally with ancillary product sales focus
  • Strong Managerial experience in digital sales and/or new digital services
  • Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as an asset
