Description:
As Industrial Software Developer in our TMT-team in Luxembourg you will develop software and automation solutions for iron- and steelmaking equipment to make our customers’ processes more efficient.
“TMT - Tapping and Measuring Technology” (www.tmt.com) is a worldwide leader in the supply of cast house equipment and measurement technology for the iron and steel industry.
Responsibilities:
- Development, implementation and support of our software and automation systems
- Participate in the development of new products for Green Steel and carbon-neutral iron making
- Measurement data analysis and development of data-driven process models
- Design and realization of advanced automation concepts (system architecture design, definition of programming sequences, software test design) and integration of our measurement systems into higher level process automation systems
- Development of digital solutions for industry 4.0 and smart maintenance technologies

Must Have:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in a function related field such as Systems Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
- High degree of initiative and self-responsibility and able to work in a professional and independent manner
- Hands-on experience in industrial system integration and process automation
- Programming experience in C#.net or VB.net
- Practical experience with version control management systems and software test design
- Knowledge of database architecture and big data handling (relational and time series databases), as well as industrial sensor and measuring technology
- Experience or background with PLC-based automation, including Industrial data communication (OPC DA/UA, Modbus TCP, TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet) and experience in PLC programming (Common brands such as Siemens, Rockwell, ABB) are an asset.
- Fluent in English.
Nice To Have:
