We are currently looking for an Experienced Accountant to join our dynamic and innovative team.
WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Managing the accounting for the IHQ, ensuring the maintenance of accounting records and the preparation of year-end financial statements according to LuxGAAP.
- Prepare and review the interim accounts as necessary.
- Ensure accuracy of G/L postings and reconciliations.
- Preparing VAT declaration, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
- Manage cash and assist in cash-flow forecast.
- Support with the external audits.
- Assist with monthly Group reporting.
- Ensure accuracy in data used by and in reports generated by the Finance department.
- Provide ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
- At least 3 years of experience in corporate accounting.
- Solid knowledge of accounting in Luxembourg and tax principles.
- Special attention to detail and high precision in work.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel).
- Excellent proficiency in accounting software tools (SAGE BOB50 being an advantage).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and other team members.
- Fluent in German and English, French being an asset.
