Your Challenge
- In this challenging and independent position of the asset service division you will strengthen and expand existing client relationships as well as develop and support new relationships with fund prospects
- You will be in charge for managing the relationship during the entire lifecycle of a Luxemburg domiciled liquid and/or alternative fund structure
- You will visit existing clients on-site and develop and support prospect clients by generating leads in the asset management industry in our core markets Luxemburg, the DACH as well as in the Nordic region
- You will independently identify cross selling potential and independently develop concepts to enhance the value proposition and the product range in the field of the entire value chain of an international cross border fund business
- As a result, you are coordinating new product developments, create pricings and business cases in close collaboration with the business experts locally and on group level
- You are continuously ensuring and updating fund client/fund related files and maintain high KYC/AML standards
- In the field of the onboarding of new fund structures you will coordinate the contractual, operational and procedural setup together with our clients and work with our client lifecycle management team and other local and group experts in order to develop pragmatic, functional, strategic and value-adding solutions
- In the daily business, you are acting as a single point of contact, ensuring that all inquiries are processed smoothly and in a timely manner, and thus creating a high level of client satisfaction
Your Profile
- You have completed banking education, relevant further trainings, and/or, ideally, a university degree in economics with good grades
- You have significant working experience in the financial sector where you gained a very good cross-functional understanding of banking, financial markets, financial products and services. Additional methodological expertise in the field of project management or lean six sigma will be considered as an advantage
- Your holistic understanding of the complex value chain of the international fund industry is fundamental to connect and integrate the client with and in the operating model of the VP Bank organization without frictions
- You have good knowledge of responsibilities/procedures of Fund related interacting counterparties
- You have excellent stakeholder management skills and are able to set clear directions, priorities, and focus areas. With these skills you will be successful in creating a network and build lasting partnerships, even at the higher levels of the company
- You prove a strong record in client acquisition and business development, particulary in an international environment
- You have a client-oriented mindset and live the "Client comes first mentality"
- Your working style is characterized by a high degree of flexibility, teamwork, and the willingness to work independently and on your own initiative based on the empowerment given
- You provide a sound knowledge of MS Office applications and are open-minded for new media and systems
- You have excellent interpersonal communication skills in English and German. A Nordic language is an advantage.
