We are seeking a Fund Accountant for one of our clients, an international financial services company located in Luxembourg. This position offers the opportunity to work within a multicultural environment and gain in-depth exposure to alternative investment structures such as Private Equity and Real Estate.
As a Fund Accoutant your main Responsabilities will be :
- Maintain general ledgers and ensure all accounting entries are properly recorded.
- Process transactions related to investments, cash movements, and corporate actions.
- Prepare and review periodic valuations and Net Asset Values (NAVs).
- Reconcile accounts and portfolios with internal and external data.
- Prepare management and regulatory reports for investors and authorities.
- Support the audit process and liaise with auditors and service providers.
- Contribute to the enhancement of accounting processes and internal controls.
Your Profile :
As a Fund Accountant you have :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fund accounting, ideally within Private Equity or Real Estate environments.
- Strong technical understanding of accounting principles (LuxGAAP or IFRS exposure is a plus).
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French or German is considered an advantage.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with accounting systems.
