For our Database Administration team, in our IT Infrastructure department we are looking for a
Database Administrator (m/f/x)
Missions :
- Install, configure and maintain the ORACLE, MS SQL and MySQL databases
- Ensure the availability, integrity, security and good performance of the databases
- Perform incidents resolution and follow-up, problems identification and analysis
- Perform day-to-day monitoring operations
- Participate in continuous improvement of the overall production environment and write appropriate procedures where required
- Keep a high level of technical awareness within the assigned area of responsibility
- Participate to IT related projects
- Occasionally provide an administrative support in the scope of the activity
Profil requis:
Critères minimaux requis pour le poste
- Be holder of a bachelor degree "BAC& 3" in Information Technology or equivalent or provide proven experience on a similar position
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge in current ORACLE databases and application servers
- Have a knowledge in optimizing the performance of databases
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge SQL
- Have knowledge in high available environments
- Show strong communication and adaptation skills
- Show good communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)
- Accept Duty Travel
Critères souhaités ou à acquérir
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills.
- Provide knowledge in Backup and Recovery using RMAN, Import/Export
- Have knowledge of Unix operating system
- Be accurate, detail oriented and reliable
- Be able to work team-oriented and independently
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
- Show a strong ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
- Show user skills in the tools used in the department
- Demonstrate a good sense of urgency and flexibility
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data
Candidat idéal
- Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset
