Manpower Luxembourg is recruiting for one of its clients a Financial Strategy & Data Analytics Officer (M/F) to strengthen a strategic team within the Finance & Strategy Office.
Reporting to the Head of the Financial Strategy Unit, you will work closely with senior colleagues from the Financial Strategy (FS) and Analytical Center of Expertise (ACE) units. You will contribute to financial strategy definition, performance monitoring, data-driven analysis, and the development of advanced analytical solutions supporting strategic decision-making.
Job Description:
Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities will include:
Develop, maintain and automate the Strategic Target System (STS) scorecard, including KPI definition and calibration
Run the STS on a quarterly basis: data collection, quality control, analysis and reporting
Draft analytical reports, strategic notes and presentations for Senior Management and the Board of Directors
Contribute to the development of dynamic financial datasets (balance sheets, financial statements, projections)
Support and improve team procedures and internal processes
Act as an internal expert in data science and analytics, contributing to tools, models and advanced analyses
Promote a strong data-driven culture within the Finance & Strategy Office
Enhance analytical capabilities through innovative methods and advanced data tools
Participate in cross-functional and cross-departmental projects, providing both strategic and analytical perspectives
Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience
University degree (preferably at Master level) in Finance, Strategy, STEM or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in data/business analytics, financial modelling or corporate strategy, ideally within the financial sector
Technical Skills
Proven experience with data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS or Alteryx
Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Excellent command of Excel (VBA is an asset)
Experience in strategic dashboarding is a strong advantage
Solid skills in quantitative modelling, financial analysis and projections; accounting knowledge is a plus
Understanding of statistical techniques (e.g. regression, A/B testing, causal inference) applied to business contexts
Experience in project management is an advantage
Languages
Fluent English required
Knowledge of other EU languages is an asset
