Internship in Advisory & Sales (A&S)

We are looking for someone to:

• Follow the global financial markets and our advisor's exchanges in order to support them with their daily role

• Assist in regular assessments of risk items in client's portfolios

• Support the sales function in delivering statistics on sales activity of the front and advisory population

• Help to contact internal colleagues to help with the daily business of the A&S team

• Cooperate with Client Advisors and other stakeholders in relation to the bank's investment process

• Support the head of A&S in administrative tasks

The team:

In this role you will be working in the A&S team together with Active Advisory team, the Advisory Specialist team, the sales management team and the mandate specialist team. The advise teams provide proactive investment advice based on the UBS investment policy, and support clients in the implementation of appropriate investment products and strategies. The sales team helps with the overall stats on productivity. The mandate specialist team supports the client advisors in selling and follow up.

Your skills and experience :

• A finance-related University degree or currently pursuing one

• Some experience or interest in Investment Advisory or Portfolio/Asset Management across all asset classes with a focus on private clients / family offices

• A results-oriented and proactive outgoing personality

• Good client relationship skills and an ability to understand client investment needs and objectives

• Good command of English

• Basic knowledge in all asset classes

• A results-oriented, sales driven and proactive outgoing personality

• Careful and self-motivated with good communication

• Self-directed, proactive and reliable

• Good analytical and organizational skills

• Knowledge of Bloomberg would be a plus

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Products is required

• A valid internship agreement from your university covering the full internship duration, availability for six months, authorization to work in Luxembourg, and active student status
