TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repair / overhaul / modification of composite components in the shop and on the aircraft.
- Accomplish wet-lay-up, hot-bonding and metal-to-metal bonding repairs
- Assist in creating tools and fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs
- Operate shop tooling/ equipment according to his/her approval and training received on same.
- Provide verbal/ written hand over to team members and superiors
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or an apprenticeship in a relevant field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in composite repairs in aviation
- Good understanding of drawings, manuals and repair instructions in English
- Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language will be considered as an advantage
- Team spirit and good communication skills
- Ability to work in team as well as independently
- Not afraid to work at height, willing to work shifts
- Good computer knowledge: MS Office, TRAX
- Willing to learn, mature attitude
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full time position, based in Luxembourg
- Shift work
- Regular and full-time presence required, vacations and other absences to be planned respecting shop needs
- Occasional travel may be required
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
- The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment
