We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Deputy Head of Global Supply Chain to support and strengthen our global supply chain operations.
This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep operational expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment with worldwide reach.
Your responsibilities:
- Act as the right hand to the Global Head of Supply Chain and deputize in their absence ensuring business continuity and performance consistency.
- Supervise and support the Supply Chain team, including Customer Service, Strategic Demand Planning andMaster Data, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and effective collaboration across departments.
- Oversee and validate master data management (materials, customers, suppliers, BOMs, routings, planning parameters) to ensure data integrity across SAP.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations to maintain data consistency supporting production planning, forecasting, and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by supervising order processing, delivery scheduling, and communication including complaint management with key accounts & clients.
- Coordinate with production, logistics & customs and sales teams to meet on-time forecasting and delivery targets and resolve supply issues proactively.
- Manage and optimize demand planning in alignment with sales forecasts, operational capacities and purchasing.
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in supply chain management
- Min 10 years of experience in supply chain roles within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in process optimization and SAP.
- Required languages: German and English, all other language is an asset
- Able to work well with others in a team environment as well as individually
