Junior Primary process Engineer (m/f/d)
Erpeldange-sur-Sûre, Luxembourg
We are a 100% independent, family-owned Luxembourg companywith over 175 years' experience in the tobacco industry and brands expertise (FMC, FCT, accessories, vaping and new generation tobacco products).
The junior primary Process Engineer oversees the stabilization and standardisation of the different Primary Processes.
Your main responsibilities:
- Be a safety role model by following all prescribed safety rules
- Follow daily Line performance and report on it
- Help eradicate issues by leading Problem-Solving Processes with appropriate tools
- Produce standardization supports: SOP, OPL, Cleaning plans, LPA, etc
- Perform statistical analysis of processes
- Deliver presentations, reports and graphs containing findings
Your profile:
- MSc in Engineering required, preferably process or chemical engineering
- Prior internships in the industry preferred. Job experience is a plus but not required
- Language skills: Fluent in German. Very good command of French and English are mandatory. Luxembourgish is a plus
- Problem solver mindset with a capacity to grasp complex and wide problems and processes
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in all required languages
- Good people skills
- Project management skills
- Capacity to work autonomously and drive topics
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools is a big plus: Lean Six Sigma, 8D, SMED, Design of experiment, etc
- Capacity to use Microsoft Office suite
- SAP knowledge is a plus
