The Department of Geography and Spatial Planning focuses on spatial development processes on local, regional and international scales. Faculty endeavor to understanding transformation processes and in developing recommendations for sustainable transitions.
Your role
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with PI on global climate action research
- Conduct field research on Luxembourg and the EU within the framework of global climate action commitments
- Assist with teaching activities
- Assist with the organization of workshops and professional training
- Prepare policy reports on climate action topics
Your profile
- Ph.D. in Social Science discipline or development studies
- Fluent in English and French, Luxembourgish and Portugues valued as well
- Experience in climate policy and/or implementation of climate programs
- Understanding of multilateral organizations and supranational climate action
