🎯 Your Responsibilities
As a CMM Metrology Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our measurement processes. Your main tasks will include:
✅ Managing measurement planning and execution using Coordinate-Measuring Machines (CMM).
✅ Programming and operating CMM machines to perform high-precision inspections and measurements.
✅ Creating detailed CMM reports and conducting statistical analysis to ensure compliance with quality standards.
✅ Training and managing inspection personnel, ensuring best practices in measurement methodologies.
✅ Developing and implementing new measurement processes for future machines and improvements.
✅ Handling internal equipment metrology, including calibration planning, equipment verification, and supplier coordination.
✅ Acting as the gauge administrator, ensuring all measuring instruments are properly maintained and calibrated.
🔎 Your Profile
🎓 Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
📏 Technical Skills:
✔ Extensive experience with Coordinate-Measuring Machines (CMM).
✔ Strong expertise in measurement programming, inspection methodologies, and data analysis.
✔ Proficiency in Minitab and statistical tools for data-driven decision-making.
🚗 Experience: Minimum 8 years in the industry, preferably in the automotive sector.
🌍 Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory; French or German is a plus.
📊 Preferred Skills:
✔ Knowledge of LEAN methodology and process optimization.
✔ Strong problem-solving abilities using analytical tools.
✔ Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills to drive efficiency and improvements.
