To support our IT & Security Team, we are looking for a intern who will be focusing on some specific projects and tasks (under the umbrella of the internship tutor):
Main activities (non-exhaustive list):
- Learn and assist in the implementation of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Help conduct security awareness training for employees
- Respond to security incidents and perform investigations as needed
- Assist with the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
- Monitor network and security systems for potential threats
- Perform security-related research and provide recommendations
- Support the ongoing maintenance of security systems and processes
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in IT security
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Familiarity with security concepts and tools, such as firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems
- Basic understanding of networking protocols and technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
