ACTIVITIES

Your main mission consists in designing and maintaining electro-mechanical sub-systems for the satellite ground segment and the rubber industry testing equipment.

• Design electrical installations and controller solutions for the satellite ground segment and the rubber industry testing equipment :

- define, document, implement and test new features and technologies in existing or new products

- create electrical concepts and drawings (including electrical safety concepts)

- develop and maintain software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using Siemens S7, Simotion and/or Beckhoff platforms

- start-up in-house designed machinery and commercial components

• Interact with internal & external customers and suppliers in order to promote, improve and troubleshoot HITEC’s electrical and automated solutions :

- present, explain and defend important features and concepts in discussions with the customers and use their feedback to improve and troubleshoot the products

- interact with suppliers to select components and perform obsolescence management.


PROFILE

• Good understanding of electrical and electro-mechanical installations and power electronics

• Design of electrical installations, including electro-mechanical devices such as motors, and related drawings (EPLAN P8)

• PLC software development (PLCopen Structured Text ST is a plus)

• Communication networks and protocols (TCP/IP, field buses)

• Good team spirit

• Ability to work in an English-speaking environment including technical discussions and documentation activities. German, French and Luxembourgish are considered as a plus

• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or automation engineering

• Control theory background and knowledge of PC programming languages (Java, C++ or Python) is considered a plus
