We are looking for a IT Project Leader (GER / ENG) for one of its client based in Kirchberg.

  • Freelance contract or permanent contract via a payrolling company
  • 1 year renewable contract
  • Starting date : ASAP / January 2026

Main responsabilities :

Managing and coordinating IT projects

  • Define and clarify project scope: You have the chance to shape projects from the ground up, making sure your vision becomes reality.
  • Identify project needs and involve other departments: You build strong cross-functional relationships and expand your influence beyond IT.
  • Coordinate team effort and motivate the team: You lead talented professionals and see your leadership directly impact project success.
  • Deliver results on time, scope, and budget: You gain a reputation as the go-to person for getting things done, fast and effectively.
  • Adhere to the company Project Delivery Framework: You work with proven methodologies that make your job easier and your projects smoother.
  • Identify and analyze risks: You become the person everyone trusts to foresee challenges and keep projects on track.

Controlling project timeline, progress, and changes :

  • Create schedules and prevent budget overruns: You have full control over timelines and budgets, giving you the satisfaction of delivering projects without surprises.
  • Implement necessary changes to meet objectives: You enjoy the flexibility to adapt and make smart decisions when things evolve.
  • Document and evaluate project stages: You see the big picture and celebrate milestones as you guide projects to success.

Monitoring project development

  • Produce project documentation: You create clarity for everyone involved, making collaboration easier and smoother.
  • Report project status to stakeholders: You are the voice that keeps everyone aligned, earning visibility and recognition at every level.

Job Requirements

Experience/Knowledge/Skills :

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology and/ or finance sector
  • Excellent Client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint and JIRA
  • Analytical and critical mindset
  • Excellent English and German languages skills, French & any additional language skills are considered as advantage
  • Experience with Avaloq Core Banking software
