Our client, an Investment Fund company based in Kirchberg, is looking for its future Investor Operations Officer.

This will be a temporary contract of 2 months. Please note that this assignment may be extended, in accordance with Luxembourgish law, for a maximum duration of 1 year.

Your responsabilities :

  • Record and monitor incoming cash flows across different investment mandates using internal operational systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of bookings.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments, identify delays or missing transactions, and escalate issues when required.
  • Perform regular cash balance checks and deposit verifications, investigating any discrepancies and ensuring proper resolution.
  • Contribute to the reconciliation of financial data by working closely with finance and operations colleagues to ensure completeness and consistency of records.
  • Support the preparation and opening of bank accounts within internal systems, including updates to static and reference data.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate operational documentation and ensure that key records are correctly stored and easily accessible.
  • Participate in internal control and audit-related activities by gathering supporting documentation and helping respond to control testing requests.
  • Review and update operational documentation linked to reporting, data processing, and automation tools to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide operational support to the wider team during peak periods or staff absences.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, controls, and data quality.

Your profile :

  • University degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Between 3 and 6 years of experience in financial operations, payments, settlements, transaction processing, or back-office roles within banking, asset management, or financial services.
  • Solid understanding of financial operations processes, including reconciliations, cash management, and operational controls.
  • Familiarity with middle-office or back-office environments is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to tools such as PowerApps, Alteryx, or Tableau would be considered an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional European languages are an asset.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.

Package :

  • Annual gross salary: €62,489.57 (paid over 12 months)
  • Leave: 26 days of annual leave + up to 17 bank holidays
