Our client, a Investment bank based in Kirchberg is looking for its future Operational Assistant within their Finance Unit.
This will be a temporary contract of 2 months. Please note that this assignment may be extended, in accordance with Luxembourgish law, for a maximum duration of 1 year.

Your responsabilities :
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and maintenance of market and reference data used across financial platforms and operational processes.
- Perform daily monitoring and investigation of data issues, identifying discrepancies and supporting resolution activities to maintain high data quality standards.
- Analyse financial data sets, prepare structured reports and documentation, and communicate findings clearly to operational and business stakeholders.
- Provide support to internal users regarding financial instrument data and contribute to translating operational requirements into effective data management solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Risk, IT, and Operations to ensure continuity and reliability of business-critical processes.
- Contribute to a controlled operational environment by respecting deadlines, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting process improvements when relevant.
Your profile :
- At least 5 years of experience in an operational role within finance, banking, market data, or a related environment.
- Good understanding of financial instruments and market/reference data concepts.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess data consistency, investigate anomalies, and work with a high level of accuracy.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting; knowledge of SQL or database querying tools is considered an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven and production-sensitive environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Reliable team player with a proactive attitude, strong sense of accountability, and respect for confidential information.
- Excellent command of English with strong professional communication skills.
- Secondary education diploma combined with relevant professional training or equivalent practical experience in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration.
Package :
- Gross hourly: €25.08
- Leave: 26 days of annual leave + up to 17 public holidays
