Regulatory Project Manager - European Institution

Our client, a Investment bank based in Luxembourg is looking for its future Regulatory Project Manager for their Group Risk Compliance department.

This will be a temporary contract of 2 months. Please note that this assignment may be extended, in accordance with Luxembourgish law, for a maximum duration of 1 year.

Your responsibilities :

• Manage and coordinate the implementation of a new digital compliance platform.
• Work closely with Compliance, IT teams, business stakeholders and external providers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate regulatory assessments related to Information Security, Artificial Intelligence governance and Data Protection.
• Organise workshops to gather business requirements and validate compliance controls.
• Support project planning, monitor milestones and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Identify project risks and issues, follow up on action plans and escalate where necessary.
• Prepare project documentation, governance materials and management reports.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate, traceable and audit-ready.
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of compliance processes within the new digital solution.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration throughout the project.

Your profile :

• University degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Political Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, regulatory change or compliance-related projects.
• Experience implementing new processes, governance frameworks or regulatory controls.
• Good understanding of compliance within the financial services or capital markets industry.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including Compliance, IT and business teams.
• Strong project coordination, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously while working under tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience as a Compliance Officer or within a Compliance function would be a strong asset.
• Consulting experience in regulatory or compliance projects would be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of Market Abuse, Conflicts of Interest, MiFID or similar financial regulations is a plus.
• Project Management certification (Prince2, PMI, Agile, PM² or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Business analysis or process improvement experience would be appreciated.
• Fluent English is required; French and any additional European language would be considered an asset.
• A proactive, collaborative and adaptable professional with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Package :

• Annual gross salary: €86 278 € (paid over 12 months)
• Leave: 26 days of annual leave + up to 17 public holidays
