Indirect Tax & Financial Reporting Manager (M/F/X)

Your missions:

• Monitor and review the preparation of VAT returns and recapitulative statements across multiple jurisdictions (BE, LU, IT, ES, DE, FR, NL, PL)
  
• Ensure compliance with local and European indirect tax regulations
  
• Provide VAT-related advice to internal stakeholders (Sales, AP, Logistics)
  
• Prepare and oversee statistical tax reporting
  
• Act as the main point of contact with tax authorities during audits
  
• Support and contribute to VAT compliance automation initiatives
  
• Manage and develop a team of 4 employees (technical support, review of tax returns)
  
• Supervise and review the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
  
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and identify reporting discrepancies
  
• Support analysts in the use of reporting tools
  
• Liaise with group auditors
  

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
  
• 7 to 10 years of experience in indirect tax compliance
  
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and IFRS standards
  
• Proficiency in financial systems (SAP is a plus) and advanced Excel skills
  
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
  
• Proven ability to manage a team and work cross-functionally
  
• Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
